How's Your Weather?

The weather gods here are telling us to shed those coats and get out the shorts again as it's going to be in the low 70's by the weekend.

Currently, cloudy and 50°(F).

You trying to be funny, teasing us frozen lot this side of the pond?

Actually, no, Mike ... I hate all this warm weather. In Tucson we have one two seasons: Summer & Summer. All the trees in our neighborhood are still green for goodness sakes .

I really envy those who get to experience the true four seasons, shovel snow in the winter, and be able to put on extra garments to keep warm. If my wife could tolerate the colder climate, I would move in a heartbeat.

Right now, it is FREEZZINGGG!! We thought it was going to snow! It's been overcast for a few days, and the mountains are covered in snow.

:) Clear and very cold here in Montreal. Hit a low of about -21C last night. At least there is no wind today. Forecast claims we will be warming up to around -3 over the next few days. Never a dull moment. VBG..

ATB! Rusty - and a Happy New Year ALL.

Right now it's 10:30 New Years Eve and it super cold, but the moon is GORGEOUS!! It's so bright, the snow on the mountains look like they're lit up. In about 5 mins we're about to make hot chocolate and go on the roof and look at the moon. :D
Happy new year to all! :D

We had a partial eclipse last evening, but some bits of high cloud made viewing a bit patchy. We still have the high cloud this morning with a fair bit of sun, temp 8C/46F calm.

It has just gone up from 1C to 2C, there was a frost last night. Although there has been a little sunshine, it is very cold.

Happy new year everyone.

It is -2C at the moment, the highest today was 1C, with the possible chance of snow flurries later in the week.

I love your huggable smilies Judy.

It's 22 celcius here and we've had a "mild" Christmas New Year weather pattern in Sydney with much rain. Boxing day was cool enough to think I need a cardigan on at times, very unusual for this time of year when it's normally about 30 degrees celcius.

I read 'bout the frozen lakes in Copenhagen on Berlingske Tidene's online edition, goodness. I'd be very hesitant to walk on frozen lakes!!

It was only 5 degrees this morning! I wished it would warm up some.
Now the weather channel is predicting snow by wednesday. Yikes!
It would be nice if krummhorn could send some of Arizona's warmth.

Judy, here in AZ it's not warm at all! In fact, NY's eve here it was -3!! When i was in Tucson for Christmas I was playing my cello caroling at a neighborhood and my whole body was numb because it was so cold! Cello didn't like it to much either ..... >>

Right now in far southeast AZ it's a little chilly, rapidly getting colder. Not a cloud in the sky

Yesterday, it got down to around 20°F (c. -7°C) with winds of about 25 mph (c. 40 kph). It was not a good time for our HVAC unit to malfunction.

and- I had to go 12 rounds with the office of the HVAC service to keep them from trying to wriggle out of their responsibility for the non-functioning of the unit- but things are much better now...

Today it's better- it will probably get to freezing (0°C). Also, the wind has died down- it's only gusting to 20 mph.
