Hmm, seems we have a lot of forum members who are suffering with extreme heat. Here it's 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity factor, 41! Ugh.

Yay for my air conditioner! :)

Yikes, Robin ... is this normal for your region at this time of the year?

We are having a constant flow of triple digit weather all week - the monsoons should start in a about a week adding high amounts of humidity to the mix. At that point, one is actually dryer standing in the shower with the water running. We can only remove so many layers of clothing in the summers here ... without getting arrested

This is not really normal, no, Lars. At least, not this early in the summer. This is more like late July and August weather. The forecast for this week is continuing heat and humidity. In French, a heatwave like this is called a 'canicule!'

Everything has been early this year. The spring, the leaves in the trees, the lilacs, the strawberries, the raspberries, the corn... weird. And it's been like this across much of the country.

Hi Robin,
Now you know what it was like to live in south Florida...ugh. It's like this at least 10 months out of the year. Yesterday when I was walking the dog, I found a public pool at Westmount Park. Guess I'll be using that a lot. The fountains in the park are great for a quick run through with the kiddies. I think this weekend we'll go to the beach for the first time since moving here.

DON'T MELT, EVERYONE. And stay hydrated :O

It's raining cats and dogs.

 And ... you almost stepped in a 'poodle' ... Sorry, couldn't resist .

Well, the thunderheads have been brewing in the SW, and starting to come up the monsoon trail ... NWS indicates thunderstorm activity is forecast for Sunday afternoon. Temps in the low 100's all week ... it's just blasted hot!
