How's Your Weather?

Simply beautiful here; no humidity, crisp breezes and plenty of cheerful sunshine, just like Northern California. How long shall it last? Ah, therein "lies the rub", unfortunately! :banghead:

Sunshine is "cheerful"? Bah, Humbug!

If you love sunshine, I mean if you really really love sunshine, move to Arizona, or as I like to call it "Arid-zona". We have plenty of stupid sunshine to spare ...

Cloudy today here, but still in the mid 90's. A/C still running all day/night in the house. We won't use the furnace until late November. It's electronic ignition, so no pilot to light when the time comes.

Actually teddy, I loathe the hot weather ... Being of Danish descent, I prefer the cooler climes and love it when it rains. I've never lived in a snow region, so do not know how I would fare in that situation, but it sounds like fun, being snowed in and a pantry full of chicken noodle soup and plenty of wood for the fireplace/stove.

It's been raining on and off for the past few days. Right now it's almost 15°C/59°F. Because who cares it's January.

Yesterday you would have thought Spring was well on its way. Last night very strong winds and lashing rain. Today back to grey and overcast. Theres nothing like variety

After two misty days I thought the weather was changing, but I should have known that it is still too early in the year. Still cold and overcast. Looking out the window at the gard upen but it will have to improve before I go out there. I have a driveway full of apple tree logs waiting for a friend with a chain saw to cut them. Must be three tons. Next Winter will be nice and warm, come what may.

Our first snowy scene this winter - and we thought it was spring! A heavy snowfall yesterday is still blanketing everything.

We just had our rain gutters replaced on Monday ... two hours later it rained. Great test for the new install - no leaks.

Today (Tues) is beautiful - clouds in the sky and about 72°(f).

A pleasant day, warm enough to drive with the window cracked open, but we are still glad to have the fire alight in the evenings. Just taken delivery of a couple of tons of apple wood with more to come.

Methinks April showers are running late this year; a few minutes ago it was bright and sunny albeit with a strong breeze, now it's hissing down, no wind, but there is blue sky creeping up, rain is easing a bit. At least it's topped up the bird bath.

Ditto, plus wind, minus bird bath !

Mid 80's (F) this week - plenty (too much, for me) of sunshine, light afternoon breezes.

Next month, June, is the usual scorcher period where 114° (F) can be normal during the day. Thank goodness for Willis Carrier back in 1902 who invented the first modern air conditioning system.
