Except for an airliner heading south 30.000 feet up, the sky like yesterday, all blue. Winds and temperatures moderate at this hour, like yesterday.

It's a hot one today. It's all ready 90 degrees and climbing. It's so dry
it feels like Phoenix before a dust storm.

Aloha Ms. Judy,

Have you been in Phoenix, Az just before a dust storm? I haven't nor do I relish wanting to be there just before a dust storm....my sincerest and most heartfelt apologies to Master Krummhorn if he feels that I unnecessarily picked on the big city of Arizona.

CD

Yes I have been to Phoenix on summer vacation when Arizona was
hot and dry. When it's that dry make sure you drink plenty of
water and take some with you. You can't waste water there like
you can in some places like my neck of the woods.

The clouds are gone, since this morning, and now we are bathing in sunshine. A bit to much wind though to my taste and the temperatures at 64 degrees fahrenheit are not really for short, half nakedness and sun bathing. But a beautiful wednesday it is for lunch in the park in stead.

Then at 1 PM I will take the buss to go north to the house of my girl friend, and I will go to the beach and voluntarely endure the stormy western winds rolling in from far away across the Atlantic.

Has anyone seen these noctilucent clouds at night? I have been
observing this strange sight. It's late nighttime and these clouds
are shining. I don't know if God's telling us something or what.
It's really weird. They have this eerie glow to them.

Hi Judy,

Interesting looking clouds ... and they are quite high in the atmosphere, so high that weather balloons cannot reach them.
There is more info on Noctilucent Clouds on the wikipedia site.

Currently, in Tucson: 89°, 35% RH, breeze out of the North at 6 mph. Seems we are headed back up into the low 100's for the next few days ... ugh ... and of course, more stupid sunshine  ...

After a ball at the beach last afternoon - all alone for miles - watching the waves hit the sea shore and having a sun set rare even in these parts, today we´re back to - greyish, a bit of winds from the west, temperatures lower than yesterday morning, and the sun - must be playing hide and seek.
