How's Your Weather?

seems insects are made to swarm. sometimes they do neat things like, uh... honey, mathematically merciless nests and strange sounds that i'd like to use or reproduce in music sometimes

I'm getting ready for a chill out tonight. It's supposed to get down to
about 46 tonight. Tomorrow night 41 degrees. It was so cool this morning
I had to put on a sweater while I walked outside until the sun came out
and warmed things. Yes this is Indian summer for Kentucky. Next thing
you know the leaves will be falling. I won't get to see my favorite tree
loose it's leaves it was put out of it's misery. It was hollow. I call it
tree cancer.

I can agree with you Krummhorn. The rain we got last night wasn't
enough. It was just enough to settle the dust. We also need a good
rain but not a flood or bad storm to have the sirens blowing. It's been
blowing from the north this afternoon. Now it's nighttime.
Good night!

grey with maybe a touch of blue between two cumulus or whatever that cloud's scientific name can be. about 15 degrees C°, took my long blackovercoat.

Hi Sylvie! no big deal if you don't have even a gallic pinch in your ascendance. after all we must have been quite the same barbarians long ago. you know, helmets with horns or little wings, two-ton axes with blood all over it, long hair, primitive customs like crushing trees when angry, etc :)

Au revoir, à très bientôt, mon amie!

Autumn has definately arrived, there is a little sunshine, but the wind makes it feel quite cold.

Fall is finally in Kentucky. I got cold wearing a long sleeve tee shirt
with the FUMC logo on it. By the way it means First United Methodist
Church with the emblem. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 41.
Right now it's 51 degrees.

At 9:20 PM it is 81°F, 22% RH, and calm wind.
Looks like we will (finally) get a little break in the daytime high temps which have been in the mid 90's ... we are going down to the high 80's, and of course, more stupid sunshine

It's the first hot day of the season. Clear blue skies and a top of 33 degrees C. Unfortunately everyone's anticipating a bad bushfire season ahead as we had very few fires last summer, followed by a dry winter. Fingers crossed.

you lucky ossie, TUR... my parents are preparing for summer too, in the south hemisphere. as for myself, i'm preparing for coldness again. Johnny "dead zone" Smith look, Corto Maltese look, captain Harlock look. folding. hope this winter's gonna go quick.

still 15° C but tricky wind

It's just lovely here. Leaves turning bright colors and starting to fall from the trees. Temp is 52F with 30% humidity and a slight breeze. We're expecting showers later on so it is a cloudy day. Will be buying a pumpin (4 actually) this week. For the first time in over a few decades we can actually carve a pumpkin and have it last for longer than one day now that south Florida is a distant memory.
