Finally this dust bowl town has gotten some lowered temps - currently at 1630 hours it is a pleasant 68°, and about 16% RH - this mornings low was 40° ... yah, right on with this cooler weather.

Here it is a typical Autumn day, colourful leaves everwhere. Only problem is it is raining, we had a tremendous downpour a bit earlier on.

It's mid October all ready and There's not one leaf turning on the trees.
During our Indian Summer the leaves turn all colors like else where.
Kentucky has been more like Arizona than the humid muggy state that
I grew up in. It's dry at 80 degrees.

Just kidding ... we do have lots of beautiful greenery that has adapted to the dry climate of the SW.

We've had a good rain this morning and things are cooling down. The
highs today are in the 60s instead of 80s. I'm glad this rain came this
time. It's really been dry lately. It finally took a notion to be a fall day.
I'm still waiting for the trees to change colors and leaves start falling.
