Ditto on that, Judy ...

Tired of the hot stuff ... it can start cooling down any day now ... but it won't, probably until early November.

In a word - Lousy. first of four days of the Bournemouth Air Festival so we get low cloud, hissing rain and the occasional clap of thunder! Dark enough for me to need lights on in the house at 10.30AM.

Lars, I could make up a bed in the spare room for ya!

We're having my idea of PERFECT weather today. Cloudless, blue sky, slight breeze, no rain in sight and the temps in high twenties (°C)/high seventies (°F). If I could have this kind of weather all year, I wouldn't care for winter or other seasons.

I have to get my acts together and have a BBQ while the weather is still good.

Yesterday was abysmal here, flooded roads, overflowing drains, at one point channels up to 4' (1.2M) deep were washed through the sand of the beach by run off from steep access roads, click on the thumbnails on this page (don't know how long this page is up for, local newspaper!)

Also click on the "flash floods" links under the text at bottom of the page

(Who needs to go to the beach when you can paddle in the road?)

Hope you are on higher ground, Mike ... read those articles with dis-belief - amazing the power of nature.

Stay dry, if you can.

I was woke up by a loud thunderstorm. Right now the
sun is coming up at 69 degrees and 100% humidity.
Just like a steam room.
