Wow, the architecture in this board is a steep learning curve for this old AV guy. :) But I think I've finally got through the Mickey Mouse. No offense. I just call things the way I see it. Otherwise, I think this might be the place for me.

I spent several years behind-the-mic, working for two classical music stations. Three if you count two universities. So that would be four! Wowser. Alas, mighty Minnesota Public Radio "overtook" the last two commercial classical stations I worked for, to be polite about it. After that, I got smart and never returned to the radio biz. However I'm in the writing and moviemaking biz, in which I DO use a lot of production music. I won't advertise which libraries I use. But I will say that some very, very highly-skilled folks compose and orchestrate AV & movie production music.

I'm also a fan of old time network radio "cues." And also light music.

I'd like to see a "classical light music" section within this forum. That genre is on the rise. :)

Thus, once a person is hooked on classical music, it really is the core of a person's life. It is high on my life. "Without a song, the day would never end. Without a song, a man ain't got no friend..." as that lovely old song goes.

Welcome to Magle International Music Forums, Scott! :tiphat:

Glad to have you aboard. I hope you'll find yourself at home here!

Unfortunately I can't do much about the learning curve of the forum software. We're using vBulletin, which in my opinion currently represents the best compromise between features and usability. Anyhow, if you have any questions or problems don't hesitate to ask.

A "Classical Light" section may not be a bad idea. I'll have to consider it and figure out if there will be enough interest to keep such a section active.

Looking forward to see you around :)

Best regards,
Frederik
