Global Warming? Any info welcomed!

You are exactly right on some of it. Prejustice is pretty bad here in the
USA. I think it's time some of that changed. I am one of those who are
just above the poverty line. I see those at the social security office and
other government ran places act as if they were being robbed. I sit for
three days before the next SSI check to come in without any thing at
home to eat or coffee. Thank goodness for my church having something
every week and sometimes every day where I will get to have what
some club was having. I belong to one of the clubs. Yes I could get
help before asking. But, they have the opinion,"Do you have any children?'
Now they give me the look,"why can't you support yourself?" Other
words get a job! It is all ways a brick wall a black or poor person runs
into.

I believe this. The USA isn't the only american people. Our neighbors
the Canadians and Mexicans are also American people even though
their countries have different names we all live on the same continent.
USA has always had it's way of showing it's neighbors who's boss like
a bully. This minute men stuff is for the birds and I mean chickens
and turkeys.:grin: It would be easier for us to hand someone a piece of
paper enough to legalize their crossing when they come over not this
shoot to kill motive like President Bush wants.

Now let's get back to the topic. I think I know what's causing the
crazy weather. Ever heard of iron oxide? People are finding this
stuff everywhere. This only comes from meteors when they burn up.
I was looking at South America yesterday and what I saw was
astounding. There was a volcano on this island that was a real
monster. I never saw any thing like it except on Mars with it's
volcano called Mount Olympus. The earth is getting in bad enough
shape by herself without our help.

thanks for the link Corno. it's interesting, and here in paris i had the first real snowfall since long. but i don't think all this demonstrates that we're entering an ice-age (no more than a warm age, i mean). we recently had a "canicule", that killed lots of people in france. it was the first time ever we reached such a dramatic situation. i don't say it was the first time the country had to face high temperatures but it was MY first time. i still can't say "this proves that", but let's continue.

what surprises me is that some people are CERTAIN that others are wrong in their judgment of a situation. your last link is as interesting as the one before, but not more groundbreaking. still the same info: this year people will feel colder than the year before. but to which scale are things to be considered? can we deny human activity? i'm not 100 percent sure global warming is made worse by man, but i know it sure doesn't help. why don't some people simply admit this? dishonesty seems to be practiced on both climate anthropic warming believers/non believers, but no one can just say "you're wrong, let nature be what it is, end of the story". this sounds so unhealthy to me when we all know humlan practice in all sorts of fields are destroying the planet. the best example, though not directly linked to the topic here, is the massive deforestation in amazonia.

the worst thing i've heard from the "swindle theoricians" is that africa is told not to use its gas or other natural resources but to use alternative electricity generation technologies, only for money motives, or because of a will of controlling the planet. so we have to feel guilty because ecology makes africa starve? can't be that simple.

i do accept the idea that some people don't care about the others but i believe some high-placed people also are serious and concerned about our lives and most of all those of our descendants. we have to think long-term sometimes.
