Hi every body this is Kavita from India. I kinda bumped into this site and was overwhelmed to see it so extensive. Basically I am a music lover irrespective of the kind of music. I do have a little knowledge about western music but not much I'm afraid. Hoping to become more aware on the subject while I am here.

I am a fan of Indian Ragas, and sitar music. There is a great album, Passages, that is a collaboration between Ravi Shankar and the Amercian composer Philip Glass. A very nice blend of East and West.
