Well, here it is again, back by popular demand! :p

Pick a composer from this list, and we`ll present a surprise video of a work by the composer with the most votes when time has run out on the poll.

This month composers from the Romantic era are featured. A Russian, an Italian, an Austrian and two Frenchmen.

Yep. my very first impulse was Schubert ( just didn't allow myself to think much about it ).

And - thanks for your devotion , Rojo!! Wonder who'll come first this month!

Yup! I'm guilty of the other vote for Saint-Saens. Seventy-three years of professional life in cm do not amount to greater music than Schubert, but they do drawn Camille closer to the period I love the most, the "post-romantic" period.

Saint-Saens got my vote..... mostly because his first name, Camille, is very.... eeh.... feminine ;)
A vote of sympathy :D (he is also a great composer though)

Schubert here - I'm thinking of the Symphonies, Piano Sonatas and String Quartets/Quintet...

One of my top 10 favourite composers!

Y'all best hurry up and vote - time is running out as the poll will close later today.

So far, it's a dead heat between Saint-Saens and Schubert - all tied up ... who's gonna break the tie ...

Bravo ... superb performance ... even if it was thirty years ago - still a fresh and invigorating presentation. Not knowing the physical layout of the hall, but could this perhaps been a dress rehearsal performance - I don't see the audience behind the director.

Thanks, Rojo for bringing these presentations forth -

Why, you are more than welcome, Kh! Thanks for checking it out.

Maybe it`s one of those made for tv performances? Not sure.

The performance is indeed wonderful; I think maybe only Jacqueline DuPré is as good or better at this piece. Couldn`t find a vid of her playing it.
