Alberti: the man behind the bass

It could be fun to play some of Alberti's music since most of us probably only know through the "Alberti bass" phenomena....
The Alberti bass is actually quite brilliant to apply when composing piano music. It can add an enourmous pace and intensity to modern piano music while it previously was used mainly in slower movements or in dances. Many famous composers applied the Alberti bass, I guess that Mozarts famous Sonatine is a prime example. It is being played exstensively at many music schools today :)
