I have always believed that EVERY little thing that exists has a reason in the universe...Are there so many infinite planets with no life on it? This is absolutely impossible...We don't have just 200 planets...we have billions...Can you imagine so many planets just as a "decoration" for us? That is absolutely impossible...Nothing is completely useless in the universe. Some less advanced other more advanced...(I'm not speaking about U.F.O.s here)..I liked this video...There is water in many planets...is that life?

Hi Martin,
Here is my view of the Universe for what it's worth.
The Universe is Infinite and has existed for an infinite time period and will continue to do so (The "Big Bang Theory" is nonsense).
By definition there will be an infinity of lifeforms; however because of the finite limitations of Physics it seems to me that the possibility of finding a solution to space travel between worlds is highly unlikely. (I am an avid reader of SciFi but faster than light travel will probably always remain a myth)

This brings me back to my previous point. If infinity exists, it is beyond our understanding or comprehension, as we do not know of anything which is infinite. If infinity really does exist there must be other things which we have not experienced or comprehend. We look at faster speeds to get us somewhere faster but there may be other methods of transferring from one place, or state to another. Its just that we can not really imagine what they are, any more than the cave men could imagine space travel.

BUT...I don't think aliens and us are meant to meet each other...We're not supposed to discover the secrets of the universe...We're just puppets managed by a "big Giant" called the Creator...

Once I have seen in "Twilight zone" 40 years ago a story about people taking a train and they were always in the same 9-10 stations...turning in a round circle...They were captured by a giant family in another planet...they were their pets..the train was a big toy...(and they couldn't notice it). The giant kid was playing with them but they couldn't see him...He was hidden.

Sometimes I feel that way...Somebody is laughing looking at us...fighting for living...IT (He/she/?) does not necessarily helps us....Just watched us!

Of course this is an odd theory...Who has the right one?

Martin, odd

Martin, for me, your "odd theory" has just as much validity as any of the hundreds of others floating around out there, including those propounded by the major religions of this world.

John that is a profound statement, as I understand it Astronomers can see back to within a few micro sec of the BB and far from slowing down the UV is actually expanding faster (accelerating) are you saying this is all a load of Bull? Colin 'curious' (borrowing from Martins coda)

Talking of repetition in another universe Groundhog Day was probably the most famous film with this subject. There have been many treatments of this theory. K-PAX ends with the pronouncement that we will continue making mistakes until we get it right. Then of course we have the parallel universe theory.......................

Trust me, Martin, you're not alone feeling like that! :nut: I think at one time or another, most people experience this--after all, it's not called alienation for nothing.
