*Knowledge of the music scene in Pakistan* - Might one of the well known musicians in Pakistan have the name of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan?
Anyway, you have joined a forum which has as it's general foundation the music of Western cultures. Of course there are som Asian examples every now and then. Don't feel offended that MIMF doesn't have more coverage of the Middle Asian music scene. Maybe you could submit a plan to the MIMF management as to a standing category for the musical scene of Pakistan. Who knows, you might just hit a gold mine.
