my ultimate dream is to master flute, mainly to play funk.

but what i love about this instrument is that it's universal, one of the oldest and most represented on this planet, and that it's small and easy to use anywhere.

ian anderson - jethro tull

jeremy steig

herbie mann

peter gabriel - genesis

hubert laws

carlos wilson - mandrill

Depends if you count the voice as an instrument, I used to sing counter tenor in church choir and small groups, in my 20s I was still sometimes taking some soprano parts, at about age 40 a major change in lifestyle and family circumstances meant dropping choral work, result - with disuse the voice range deteriorated, now gone, I wish I still had it.

I would have loved to play Violin and Piano

Violin because it sounds like the Human voice
Piano because of it's elegant nature

BTW: Can anyone explain the difference in Piano and Fortepiano?
Is the sound? or parts of the piano?

I really want to play the Soprano or Alto Saxophone!

And the Fortepiano looks much different than a normal one, and it does sound different.

I really want to play the Soprano or Alto Saxophone! . . .

Alto is wonderful - my son took up that one. Soprano is probably one of the most difficult of the sax family to play. I've heard more than one person making reference to the "Agony Stick" when talking about the Soprano sax:crazy:.
