Just seen Senna. Not a huge Formula 1 fan, but it was spellbinding... and the last films of him before his untimely death on 1 May 1994 were very poignant.. he was distracted, moody, as if he knew.....

Just saw Minority Report based on a short story by Philip K. Dick and starring Tom Cruise. Now I shall have to read the original story as well.

Found the storyline stretched my belief a little Steve. Taxi driver kills skilled hit man, but a entertaining film non the less

Glengarry GlennRoss, starring Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris and Kevin Spacey. This film was as good as I remember it being from the first time I saw it.

Please read my new book "How To Live With Dementia and Not Really Care"

I think you are right Steve. The good thing about alzemisers is that you only ever have to buy 1 film. I am sure I have seen both films but with my memory, who knows.:confused::confused:

Watched the original version of the Thomas Crown Affair last night. Still as enjoyable as when I first saw it many years ago. And the song Windmills of your Mind still turns me on

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Beautiful photography. Well written with an excellent plot. Maybe the ultimate buddy movie. Love the beginning shot in sepia.

Thats another story from Phillip K Dick (Blade Runner). Rather a strange man in my opinion but I do intend to read some of his books. I believe Steve is working his way through them

JARHEAD A war film about the invasion of Kuwait. I believe it attained some recognition for its realism

Via Netflix, Galaxyquest, a very clever science-fiction drama and comedy "movie within a movie". It stars Tim Allen, Alan Rickman and a drop dead gorgeous Sigourney Weaver.

A very funny film in my opinion Steve. One film that I have bothered to purchase (albeit from the £3.00 bin).
Have you seen WAKING NED. A gentle comedy set in a small fictional village in Ireland. Highly recommended.

Teddy, No I haven't, but based on your recommendation, it's going on my Netflix queue.

Moon {via Netflix}, starring Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey as the voice of the computer. I found the plot somewhat confusing, but the overall atmosphere and basically one man acting of Rockwell was very effective and engaging. I just wish the story line would have been more fully fleshed out.
