Bassist?

This isn't my stuff but I went to my freinds bands gig (Obsessive Compulsive) the other night and got chatting to someone who gave me a demo disk of his music (Xero) when I saw OC play in Southampton a couple of months ago. I know him from years ago, not that well, just to make smalltalk in the pub.

Anyway, I was saying how I liked the demo and asked when he's gonna do a gig.
He said he's looking for a band to play it live because he did it all himself. I said I play bass and told him about my stuff and he was really up for me being involed.

I'm really interested in going for it but unsure of how much commitment I can give due to home responablities, work and (most importantly

) my own music (when am I gonna get this finished)

Hey Luke, I'm not sure I understood your question. Are you asking, if we think you have the time to go for this?
You could start out by asking your man, how much time he would expect you to invest in this. Then you'd have a fairer idea if you'd be able to commit to this.
Good luck, Cæcilie

It wasn't really a question, just sharing my music related experience with anyone who cares.

That's some good advice there though. Cheers.

Sorry to be slightly off-topic, but by being a web techy myself, I must compliment him on the excellent site layout. I'm listening to the song "Count to Xero" right now, and I must say that I am quite impressed. It sounds like progressive rock mixed with some techno beats. I don't know anything about techno, so I can' really comment on the style, however I really like the bass section at about 2:30-2:50. I assume he used a small recording studio, and not some deal in his garage? Sound quality is pretty good in my honest opinion.
