oh i don't think i can call myself a mcoy tyner fan, since i have maybe four albums. corno dolce made me remember some nice tunes.

i would say, good choice on "walkin'" by Miles, though i don't remember if i have it back home. i think i heard it on a compilation. i have never been a Miles fan either, but i tend to discover jazz giants slower, laybe because of my ego, and most surely because of the time it takes to delve into those huge raws of cd taking all the room available in the stores. you know, Duke, Miles, John, etc... same thing for the latter.

oh by the way, i have only one polish jazz volume: Extraball. i think it's from the late 70's or early 80's. They play in a return to forever style, but didn't forget to put in their own thing. real virtuosi. know them?

You mean "Extra Ball" with Jarek Śmietana? Yes, I heard something about them. I think I'll have to find some of their recordings.

hey Calico i didn't know Esbjorn Svensson at all but i saw a video of him, a tv show ( actually the jazz awards ) he played in last year here in france. this year they paid hommage to him as well as to many older jazz giants and generally appreciated musicians. he seemed to be quite a genius.

people - kenny burrell. while watching people on their train back home.
