The best midifiles of organ works

    Hi !
I think I have never heard such hight quality midifiles. Great thanks to Dom Bedos' friends.

    http://www.organosandomenicorieti.it/scpop/archive/complete_archive.zip

"Pipe organ pieces recorded in midi format by SCPOP users.
The great part of the pieces in this Archive are LIVE PERFORMANCES, the rarest files you can find in the Net. The sequenced pieces admitted distinguish themselves to take care as much as possible of the musical interpretation."
    The author also adds :
"The midi files here are NOT General Midi and MUST be played on Roland Sound Canvas otherwise they will have to make some changes to get right organ sounds."
In fact, you can play these files on any virtual organ. You only have to delete channel 5 data and write in this track your own registration changes if changes are needed.
    Friendly yours. Jean-Paul

    Dear Friend,
Written on how to do this? I use Hauptwerk program and the pedal goes to the melody, which is only 32 keys.

    Hi
If you mean that the soprano voice is played by the pedal you should change the Midi channel of this voice.
You can change the channel in the Mififile, if you have a sequencer software
Or you can change the MIdi channels of the organ inside Hauptwerk. Do what is easier for you.

Thank you for your help. I used the reaper program and managed the channel change.

I've looked at some of these files using Aria Maestosa, and I'm only seeing 3 midi channels, with no 5th one to delete as the original post mentions. Is this some limitation of Aria Maestosa, or were the registration channels removed by someone already?
