Been a mac user since -91 along side pc's. When working at a pro music level, using several different studios, it became apparent that Mac had to a large degree the lion share of the market within the music industry. Cross platform integration is a somewhat new thing where as you only have to back the tape a couple of years and you were bound to have a mac if you were going to do work at home, continue in one studio, do some more editing and stuff at home and move to the next studio. These days, Pc's have started to emerge in but Mac is still more common.. maybe it is mainly to do with bus speeds and the inherent dislike for window's architecture when using a computer for a task like audio.
I still use mac for music and have a pc for games and other leisure.
