Dearest Intet,

Are you calling me "Mephisto" as in Mephistopheles?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: I'm stunned and speechless :eek::eek:
Egads, I'd better start praying real hard :pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray: that I'm not mixed in with "that crowd" come Judgement Day. Lord Have Mercy!!!

Cheers,

CD :shake::shake::shake::whistle::whistle::whistle::banghead::banghead::banghead: O woe is me!!! O the agony, pain, and misery.......

ps. Oh, I really forgot - the Danish sense of humour is not easily understood by those outside of Denmark or of Danish heritage - it is inscrutable as it is mysterious...

Mr. Corno Dolce

Please alowe me to make one personal point on behalf of our common 1 month and 6 days incredible close friendship and respect, with absolutely no comparison in the written Danish/Oceanian humor. The only issue between us, we don´t seem to be able to agree in, obviously - Telepathy below the heavens across the Atlantic :lol::lol::lol:???

Depending on how you define "telepathy", which should not be misunderstood for "leprousy":rolleyes: I never said that :smash::smash::ut::ut:. You compadre alone would now be able to agree to disagree if it has ever realy worked between us - the telepathy. Of course I know better :rolleyes: being much older and experienced in worlly and spiritual affairs, but then I never believed in coincidences neither.

Btw. I have never in my disputable life the past thirtyfive years met a man in Denmark or at Roxy or Elsewhere around Europe, who were so fond of the Standards Trio as myself.......Coincidence you will say. Right!! I won´t mention the word "telepathy" anymore post this post, it seems to worry you, leaving you in your illeterate unspiritual, however much better in spelling than I - world. However the beating seems to work telepathicly. Touche´ mon frere!!:grin:

i'm not a scholar in neurophysiology, but loved to study philosophy of mind. and somehow i came to the idea, that neurons- let's say in the visual cortex - trigger (or may do that) neurons in other areas responsible for audio or even taste experiences. while it is more or less obvious with audio/visual case (because of so much visual information, audio being second one),i don't rule out the possibility that smell could be described (and experienced) in terms of visual or sound experiences. i think of a brain being very intermingled - like a little butterfly wing move in africa causing hurricane in america. so i think it more natural than an oddity to experience sound in colors and vice versa.
that's my humble opinion on such a great topic.
and - i presume - one could have direct/one to one note/colour relation or/and sound pattern-chord-any sound sequence/colour/s relation.
maybe even more.

Hi Pliorius,

Oh, the fluttering butterfly wing in Africa that can cause a Hurricane to strike Florida - If I'm not mistaken, thats something from Chaos Theory.

Cheers,

Hi CT64,

Why, thank you dear Sir. Ya know, its just so fascinating what different images one can "pull off" the world-wide reticular. I found the image so compelling. A human at the seashore just before sunset - "holding" the solar globe with his hands as if it were an overgrown soccerball.

Humbly,

If you take a music scale say from C to C, can you visualize a color pattern in your mind? I can.

Hello Jan,

When I hear a C-major chord I see a multi-hued melange of pastel colors. The colors shade into each other without blending. Its really very odd but at the same time very pleasing and soothing. For example: If it is an augmented or diminshed 13th chord then I see even more colors.

Something that really shocks me is that depending on the emotional mood I'm in, I'll see a different hue for every tonal key I hear:

C: From Blue to Deep Red
C#: From Blue-Green to Crimson
D: From Green to Orange-Crimson
D#: From Olive-Green to Orange
E: Yellow
F: From Apricot to Yellow-Green
F#: From Orange to Green
G: From Red to Bluish-Green
G#: From Crimson to Blue-Green
A: From Violet to Indigo
A#: From Agate to Deep Blue
B: From Indigo to Violet

Cheers,

CD :)
