If they would only give me free reign for a couple of years I would fix it, and I know that would apply to anyone on this thread

Maybe people power is the sort of mayhem we need. All politicians seems to ignore what the people want once they are in power.

Colin for prison govenor? Cast your votes now.

No railway jokes, that is not my line. I don't want people to think I have gone off the rails, now that is a signal for me to leave this thread.

In my view it is amazing and horrific that many prison occupents appear to obtain drugs so easilly. Could there be connivance of staff?

Thank you CD, well it is time someone blew the whistle on the drug takers. But perhaps I am on the wrong track, and have run out of steam.

Mayhem??? how so, I would look after those in need,(not the idle) punish the crims, try to rid the world of greed, so there you go, pick it to bits if you will and/or make suggestions here is a chance for all good men to come to the aid of the party, sorry  getting carried away, substitute mankind for party.;):pray:

Dear Colin,

As was mentioned about you running for Prison Warden ;):smirk:

A most thankless job that is a political *ejection seat*.

The criminal minds will always be with us - However, a society need not spend the same amount of money that it would cost to send someone to Oxford University vs costs of warehousing(prison).

I find myself once again thinking about those who were sentenced to walk around in stocks. The psychological pressure plus widespread public knowlege(photographs of the perp) would break their bad habits. This coupled with the *reformational practices* of Sheriff Arpaio could be a great way to solve intractable problems.

Cheers,

CD :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

Yea for Arizona!! I completely agree with you, CD ... Amen, Brother ... Amen!!

Prisoners here have rioted because they got meatloaf three times in one week ... and they get national news headlines for it ... Whoa, Nelly!! Headline news? For shame on the media, imho.

Heck, I would love to have meatloaf three times a week, and so would lots of other people who were on limited budgets.

Dear teddy,

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Methinks the World would be in very great trouble if there were more like me. Truth be told, if I were a *mad scientist* with the ability to clone myself I would outright reject that notion, seeing as my genetic makeup is very flawed. Thankfully, its my wife's genetic material that shows itself so wonderfully in our quadruplets - Now I feel that there is hope for the World. :):):)

GrandMaster Krummhorn,

Arizona seems to be the only sane state in the Union these days. But the rioting because of meatloaf for three days? Put 'em on hardtack and water then - They will quickly learn to love meatloaf pretty soon :grin::grin:

I hope that the Governor of Arizona will be able to withstand the political pressure emanating from Baghdad on the Potomac in re to the *immigration control measures* she introduced - It seemed to have gotten D.C. squawking and squabbling...

Btw, I love a good meatloaf once a week - Yummy for my tummy...

After a much needed session with my Footman I shall retire for the evening, to morrow after a morning round of golf I will address the problem of Crime and punishment and you will be amazed how easy this can be solved, now please forgive me as my bed calls.

Last year a prisoner sued the home office because his newspaper was delivered late every day. He not only won compensation he was granted legal aid to bring the action in the first place.
Now I must go and take some medication. Preferably something strong (not falling down water. I am working).
