Hi Ms. Margaret,

So nicely stated! - I so detest and loathe packing. My Lady and my own goal is to always live life to the fullest for we do not know if tomorrow will come.

Cheers,

If you ask me,the end of time is when you die. We are not really promised
tomorrow. Just live your life one day at a time.

Yes Ms. Judy,

The end of our *personal* time on Earth. So, as JSBach so eloquently put it:
"Bestelle Dein Haus" - Put your House In Order.

Cheers,

CD :):):)

Live each day as if it is your first, look around and see things as if you were seeing them for the first time. And live each day as if it was your last, enjoy what you see and do what you want to do.

Margaret,

No truer sentiment can be expressed. That is exactly how I try to live my life. When there are specials on tv about these types of things, it's funny how they choose to just "gloss over" the missed date of past predictions.

Yes Stephen, strange that. That have been so many "End of world" dates, but they never get talked about. Only the latest one.

Yes I remember Y2K, everyone panicking because they thought planes would drop from the sky, and computers would cease to work.

I think somebody started that rumour.

I hate packing, and if the world is going to end (and I say IF) I might just as well stay at home, log on, chat to my friends and probably die with a smile on my face.

When my time comes it comes.

Margaret

don't forget margaret - all the while sipping a nice, hot cup of English Breakfast tea.

Oh absolutely, it's what we British do best. Any sign of a crisis and we put the kettle on and make tea. Tea anyone?

Thank you Mat, the Brirish are well known for thinking that tea solves everthing.

Margaret,
3 years ago we took a trip to London and I purchased a tin of Harrod's special blend ot tea. I quite enjoyed it at the time but still have some left. I wonder if it is still good?

BTW, Harrod's was QUITE an experience, especially at the holidays. I got some incredible deals on decorations at the Boxing Day Sale!

The people living in northwestern part of Germany and the Frisian Islands also love to take tea at a time of crisis.

Hi Stephen

Yes, Harrods is quite an experience, I am not sure how long tea is good for.

Sorry Judy, what sort of biscuits do you have with gravy?

How fascinating that this thread has *morphed* from a topic question on terrorism to a topic question on tea/biscuits and gravy :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Do I detect cognitive dissonance?:D:D:D
