If you ever watched Animusic with acousitic, you would see a
curved like keyboard which are just strings.

I am a big fan of Animusic! I had envisioned so many things that he put into virtual reality before I could get them built for real!

I was just looking at this and wondering what it would be like to play,
until I thought about playing with my hands and holding a mallet in my teeth.
And then I thought about building a mallet hat to hold two mallets.
Now I'm thinking, please, give me a call when you're finished,
so I can visit with my guitar to jam and try some tunes.
I hope your build proceeds efficiently.

One of Jarre's players (I forget his name) regularly uses a synth with Janko keyboard on it and it's clearly seen in the Docklands show, La Defense and a couple of others.
That's actually a 5-row crhomatic button accordion layout. It's likely a "C system" layout; three rows make up the chromatic scale, and there are two duplications for extra fingering possibilities.

I'm seeing your reference to my "mallet hat", and I can still dig it.
You're hearing from someone who thought it looked hot when a rock keyboardist
would be standing up with arms outstretched, keyboards left and right, dancing a little.
I didn't get curved, building my new guitar, but I got slanted.
The Rickenbackers I tried in the early seventies had slanted frets,
and even playing upside down I could see how that helped hold down barre chords.
A moose or deer cap, with antlers, is close to a mallet hat.

Did this fellow ever get back with his completed, uh, synthboard?
