I love it! Even though I didn't start this thread I'm glad someone did.
These places and videos are just beautiful. There are still some things
in this old world that's free and that's your health and the beauty of
nature. As long as you have these two you are richer than the biggest
millionaire or higher. Because this richness is free. What your eyes can
take in while you drive down the road or walk in the park and feel good
and not feel sick and feel at peace you are rich beyond measure in my
book.

Hey Corno, we match! Now we need for Krummhorn to match us.
His avatar still is full of pipes. This is our trend as admirals! I like
the nebulas better. Now we need for Magle's to have a space
shuttle or a Star Trek emblem. Our forum is as you call it a starship.

Well, actually, you did ... you just don't know that you did ... :rolleyes:.

In reality this thread got its start from the staff breaking off postings that were in more of an "announcement" type of thread that Frederik Created long ago - Just thought these deserved their own new category ... and since your posting was where I started the pruning, you got credit for starting the thread, even though you didn't actually start it yourself. Makes perfect sense, right? :crazy:

I'm going to keep the pipes in the avatar for awhile ... as a member of the forum staff, one might say that I was "in charge of the ranks" ... pipes ... ranks ... :lol:

I took that picture a couple months ago with my mobile phone camera ... I thought it looked pretty snappy, too, and decided to use it as my avatar.

Those pipes belong to the organ in the church where I've been the organist since 1982. A modest 9 rk M.P. Möller, but the ONLY Lutheran church in this local region with a pipe organ.

He's our little darling that was abandoned by a stray mom in our neighbors yard. I heard him crying for 24 hours and inquired. The neighbor said a cat had kittens in his shed and that he was feeding the mom until they all left. The next day I still heard meowing only much fainter sounding.

That evening our doorbell rang and it was pouring rain. Our neighbor was there with a soaking black ball of fur and said that he went to feed the mom and she and her babies were gone. Only this one was left because he was hanging by his neck in some lawn furniture and she couldn't get him out. (he has a little bald spot under his chin where he was hanging). He was starving and couldn't even stand on his own. We bottle fed him and then gave him pablum and he has become the most affectionate cat.

We call him our little ambassador because he got the dogs and the other cat to all be friends, since he was raised from an infant with them. He thinks he is a dog.
