That is soooo lovely, sunwaiter. My two cats talk to me - to the extent that one is nick-named Princess Whingey-Bum - but they don't really talk to each other, unless they are at opposite ends of the house. Must "talk" them into doing it. Although they do wash each others' ears in between wrestles.

sometimes i wonder if cats realize how beautiful they are, just like i wonder if pigeons realize they're doing something we will probavly never do by our own means.

it seems they don't, and it may be better this way.
