One little hungry kitten? How about a bunch?YouTube - Hungry Kittens

Judy, wouldn't you just like to slap the person who made that video? Having had pets all my life I know how funny and entertaining they can be. But taunting hungry babies for the sake of a few moments of video doesn't amuse me any more than seeing an animal in a cage.

Some adorable (and stately) kitties pictured. Our cats like to "prune" vegetation, be it in the garden or preferably from a potted plant. Sometimes they leave just bare twigs. One cat I used to have, Lamb Chop, would pull potted plants and flowers out of the soil almost as fast as I could put them in pots. I came home from work one day and couldn't believe the mess he had made on the porch...Pansies all over the floor, catnip that he managed to munch down to the base of the plant and grasses that were chewed up and shredded. I couldn't do anything except laugh at his antics. But that's when I started to put plants on pedestals.

Thank you for your compliments. I sang Happy Birthday to Rosie and Sam this morning and they ignored me, of course. They did seem to celebrate via a more vigorous than usual rampage around the house including diving under any soft furnishings they could find, wrestling and beating up on several fluffy toys.

Sunwaiter - what is the name of that very noble creature?

Greatcyber, I must admit there's not very much of that fern left. I find bits of it in the strangest places ... on my bed, in the shower, tucked behind a cushion on the sofa.

Fun with kitties... CD, I love the kit in the sink; he seems as happy as a clam. Margaret, that poor feline...I can only imagine what he's like to do to his owner. But some cats don't really mind water. When I gave Ramses a bath after he got into some grout in our neighbors back yard and came home all white instead of black, into the sink he went. He never cried, scratched, bit or otherwise objected. I think because we raised him from just a babe when he was only a month old. We in essence became his "mothers" so he pretty much lets us do anything. Catrina on the other hand...well, she has never had a bath in 9 years. (Except when she fell in the pool) She doesn't find it too amusing. (but we did, actually).

Here's another kittie:
