1. Lack of an Absolute.
2. Everything is relative - Who are we to judge?
3. To be angry with someone is seen as hateful and bigoted - Peace at all costs.
4. Better with a false peace than with tension-filled situations - avoidance of all conflict.

The only problem I have with this whole phychiatric care thingee is, WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR THAT! Not to be abrasive, but do you guy's honestly think someone like this is likely to ever be "corrected?" And if he is then how long are we gonna let the tax payers (@ 51,000+ per year) pay for this garbage to sit in a "hospital" until a mental-health care proffesional feels they're "well?"

I can't abide cruelty to animals. I grew up with lots of pets and now have two of the most spoilt cats imaginable. As far as I'm concerned you make a commitment when you decide to bring an animal into your life and home and there's no space for second thoughts about honouring that commitment.

Rilly, animals don't have a choice in the matter. This is parallel to a very young girl that's raped by an older and very strong man. What in the hell can she possibly do about it but hope it ends quickly?

I think you're talking about the same type of systemic problems Corno was referring to. I don't believe it's about money, nor am I a bleeding heart, ultra-wet liberal. While bullets or other means of removing "garbage" from our society may be cheaper, who should live or die is not my call. It should not be anybody's call.

There's a huge problem in some areas and it's the responsibility of those of us who want to live in a harmonious society to, in a civilised fashion, ensure changes for the good are made.

Interesting thought, but the concepts of "fitness" and "natural selection" seemingly don't apply or work on those it should. If someone like this isn't naturally takin' away somehow, how fit are we, as a society that claims they want to advance, to let one like this remain here and not only not benefit society, but do nothing but milk from it?

How does one determine who should not be acceptable to the broader society?

Perhaps you might like to start by getting rid of those who aren't blue-eyed blondes? Should we choose those who are fit for society on the basis of how they behave, which books they've read, whether they've read a book at all, if they have ever worn black stockings with white shoes, IQ levels etc.

One who knows a fair deal about economics will tell you something to the effect that coercive institutions such as prisons and maximum security hospitals creates/sustains employment wich stimulates economic strength, right? Well, I agree with this but feel we should/need to find a way to decrease the number of rats we pack into these cages. For reasons I may mention later, I'm very interested in knowing the financial status of this persons upbringing?

No, do not kill the poor, but way too many people are laying down with one another to make babies. This far too often results in piss-poor Instruction and development. I come from a rilly poor family and I made it out okay only because a few very special people chose to intervene. Gratefully, I chose to let them and now know I'll never help produce 4 children I can't afford when I couldn't afford the first one.

What is needed is a few remote islands where the misfits can be dumped to set up self supporting colonies with no facilities for escape. No modern conveniences nor entertainment to be allowed.

Strand them on the island with sufficient supplies to last until their first crops are ready and forget them. One off cost for set up and transport.
