I have been asked to introduce myself, so here goes. My name is James Lally, born in London, England but have been living in Denmark since 1988 where I work full time (and more) as an organist. I have been an organist since 1962 and my assosciation with the Danish Church started in 1972 in the Danish Church, Regents Park, London. It is wonderful to be able to turn your hobby into a full time living.
There is, of course, lots more but that's enough for now, if you want to ask any questions, feel free.

Aloha Mr. Lally,

Welcome aboard! Please do make yourself feel very much at home here and do plan on staying for a spell as this forum is highly addictive.

Cheerio,

Corno Dolce :):):)

Ps: I have been playing organ since I was seven - Never attended a Conservatory or Music School for organ performance but had private tutelage.

Welcome to MIMF, James :tiphat:

From one organist to another, I am delighted to meet on who, who I think, is so fortunate to be playing in Denmark - if it wasn't so far, I'd do the weekend commute myself

We would like to know more about the organ(s) you play in Denmark ... historic ones or modern day.

Anyway, take time to peruse this site - we are a friendly bunch and always have a good time here. Looking forward to seeing you about the pages here soon.

Hi James & welcome. So, do you know Micael Austin, another ex-pat brit playing the organ in Denmark. I met him long ago when he was organist at Wimborne Minster.

Enjoy your time here!

Cheers MIKE
