I know many people post that they are looking for songs from movies, tv shows, etc. and there might be clips on YouTube which feature them.

There is a program which downloads (free) from YouTube into flv format (flash video) here: http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

Once you have downloaded the clip, you rename it to *.flv

To get this into readable/playable music, you can convert it to midi format by getting a shareware program from here: http://flv-to-midi.qarchive.org/

There may be freeware programs for this, but I haven't found one yet (haven't really looked too hard, though).

This might be very helpful for those of you looking for specific music which might otherwise be unavailable.
