Here's some real jammin' - McCoy and friends really *Get Down*.......

In part two the bassist does an extended cadenza and throws in snatches of a favorite hymn tune known to millions the world over - guess which one...:D:D:D

thanks for posting this, never seen before. you found another reason to appreciate france ;) that channel (M6) stopped broadcasting concerts like this, and i still don't understand why.

since you provided some vibes, here is a famous vibebattle already widely known, according to some:

Aloha sunwaiter,

Good to see you back - Yeah, that was McCoy back in 2002. After his serious health issues he had, he looks hardly the same now in 2009. I have his latest Cd entitled *Guitars* - I hardly recognise his playing. There has been a definite diminution of his titanic piano prowess. I'm really bummed about it - maybe he'll pull something out of the bag soon to reaffirm his keyboard magic.

Cheerio,

CD :):):)

yes i hope he will recover enough to deliver some more beautiful things, before he takes his retreat from this world.

that makes me think of Pat Martino, and how he had to learn how to play guitar again after a terrible period of his life (the aneurysm issue).

and then there is Django with his missing fingers...

there must be other stories i never heard about in the same genre, so i believe everything is possible with musicians.
