This is getting awful. It seems as if this country will soon be plagued by
communist law thanks to these people who want God out of everything.
Not just marshal law. No body will be safe anymore.

That "situation" was in 2006, amidst the terrible flooding as a result of Katrina. Although apparently true, the troops were sent in to defend people's personal and private property from looters who WERE stealing everyone blind and lining their own pockets with money from pilfered merchandise ... merchandise that was taken illegally.
There is where the truth lies in this instance ... they don't tell that side because this video is "slanted" against armed forces members just doing what they were told to do. We should be thankful that these brave men and women were out there risking their own lives and facing possible death at every turn from looters who are also armed with rifles and guns.
I often wonder why people strive on the "negative" of every situation. There were lots of positive things happening after Katrina too ...

Funny, the people who want God out of everything, have absolutely no qualms about keeping pieces of paper and coinage that states "In God We Trust" in their wallets and pockets ...

'An emergency situation' ? The Western world is (supposedly) at war. It's called the 'War on Terror' and it has huge implications in the USA and in places such as the UK. Isn't THAT an emergency situation ? Or is the Patriot Act going to be finally dumped in the rubbish bin where it belongs ? So that people, once again, can have back their own Constitution ?
As for how people acted with Katrina - the forces of law and order are sworn in to office and are supposed to act within the Constitution, NEVER outside of it. Even in a state of emergency. Don't you know that ? So why were the arms of ordinary people in New Orleans seized by these same forces in direct contravention of the US Constitution ? Any answers ? Any comments even ? Or are the police and army in the USA ignorant of the clear provisions of the US Constitution ?
THAT's why nobody trusts politicians. They may stand on steps and swear to uphold and defend the very thing they are actually committed to destroy. That's why there is a great Constitution of the USA. The living proof of this being bypassed is the existence today of the Patriot Act, the most unconstitutional legislation ever passed in the entire history of the USA.
Why not study the rulings of the US Supreme court on this question ? The provisions and rights of the US Constitution CANNOT be removed, even during a time of emergency. So says the highest law making office in the USA. Which part of this message do people not understand ? And when will it be learned by the forces of law and order ?
