Well, neither piece particularly took my fancy, and I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue where to suggest you start looking for more information.

How did you come across these pieces? maybe if we know that, that would give us a clue as to where to start looking.

The song 1 was copied from a cd which I don't have any more and I don't know the name of the cd.The song 2 was copied from radio 4-5 years ago.

At first blush, neither rings a bell with me. My thoughts (and I may be wrong) are:

1. The "tinkling" synth sound at the end of the first sample reminds me somewhat of Japanese new age artist Kitaro's work.
2. The other piece sounds to me rather "Jewish", like a slow Klezmer number.

My two shekels' worth, take that with a large grain o' salt....
