How ironic
That's certainly what we've seen recently. After decades of chipping away at responsible regulatory infrastructure so they could use the world economy as a giant roulette wheel, our caring economic overlords have presided over a cataclysmic crash. Now not only the newly-homeless and -jobless require government aid, but the same institutions whose recklessness put us in this mess to begin with.
Looks like capitalism only had twenty more years in it than communism did.
