Johannus Prestige 300

Any opinions on the above, folks? I'm thinking not only tone and user-friendliness but reliability. I've had it with unreliable, gremlin-infested organs.

While I'm here, does anybody have any exp with classical Wurlitzers? You read that right. When I first discovered my present church it had an actual, beautiful, playable, believable classical Wurli 2m electronic with round stop pulls. It had a perfectly good specification, sounded great, and looked like it could have been designed by Flentrop or Rieger.

Alas, it fell apart. But I'm keen to know the model and its story. Obviously not the original Wurli company.

I am not aware of any reliability issues with Johannus instruments. The only issue is whether you like the sound of the instrument. I've never heard of a Johannus Prestige model. ??

As for the classical Wurlitzers, during their brief appearance around the mid to late 80's? IMO they were amongst the best sounding organs of their day; and being offerred at rather attractive prices. If my recollection is correct, they were manufactured for Wurlitzer by Viscount to the cheapest specifications they could get by with and still have something that actually worked.

The PRESTIGE I know is a Viscount Model. I own one which is a superb classically voiced instrument.

some years ago I played for a number of years a Johannus Church model - 3 manual- classical voiced with somne added voicing I had added.( do not remember name other then that as was in the 1990's. I enjoyed playing and liked the sound generated by the insturment and it had excellent speaker installation. Good Luck
