Please tell (if you remember) how you found this forum in the first place, and why you decided to join (optional)
Besides being fun to know, this info will also be really helpful when improving the forum in the future. Thanks

(though in my defence you were away on vacation on the day. Still there should have been a celebration waiting for you upon your return. I guess I owe you some cake

I googled classical music forum, checked out some places just to see, and got hooked by Rune`s Debussy question. I`ve not looked back since.

There you have it.

Hi Frederick. Just searching for common or like-minded musicians while trying some grass roots promotion for my own project. "Outside, Looking In"- a fusion of jazz, Indian and classical is the best way that I can describe it.

Looking for some feedback etc.

I googled Classical Crossover Music Forums and this group was one of the first to come up. This is my first day here. I've found myself stopping back here off and on all day to see what replies I've had to my postings and just keep finding more postings to reply to! Very nice group of fellow music lovers.

I found my way to this forum googling for mp3 recordings of the Riga Cathedral organ.
The forum looked intresting and I decided to join a couple of days later. And needless to say it had a nice mp3 of Riga Cathedral organ as well. Thank you Frederik

I was searching for some information concerning the composition application called EWQL (which I should receive two days from now), and that's basically how I found this site. I didn't even know we still had the term Court Composer in Denmark. I'm still in awe

Well done Magle, I will follow and study your work in detail. And I really like what I've heard of Cry of the Winds(Souffle le vent) so far. And I especially like that you compose melodic and harmonic classical music, as I (try to) do the same (and hope to increase in sound quality with EWQL).

Hi Thomas,

Nice to see another user (to be) of EWQL (which I guess is a product by EastWestQuantumLeap?). Frederik Sjölund in here uses their Symphonic Orchestra Gold edition, and from his "dabbles" it seems to me to be a really nice sounding set of virtual instruments.
Is it the same you're getting, or something else entirely?
