Well... it's already amazing that he actually existed, and did the phenomenal body of work that he did. I'm very glad for that.

Thanks Stephen.

Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/09/us/09jackson.html?hpw

Preliminary hearing is to take place April 5th.

The Medical Board appears to wish to have the doctor's license revoked.

This is just the beginning.

May justice be served.

Judge Michael Pastor has been assigned as the trial judge. The next hearing date has been set for June 14th. The judge did not make a decision regarding Murray's medical license.

This is going to be a long haul...

I find it more than irksome that some (including some family members) are portraying MJ as being a raving drug addict. If that were the case, there would have been evidence of organ damage listed in the autopsy report. There was none. The only drugs found in his system were drugs the doctor gave him.

I don't know how many of you guys are actually in Denmark, but for those of you who are there is going to be a show done in Michael's honour, called "All For Love". Opening night is april eigth, and my big sis is among the people performing :) (She's singing gone too soon)

It's in Gladsaxe Theater

Hi Josephine :) Hope the show went well?

For anyone that still doubts of MJ's innocence regarding the trial in '05, tomorrow (Thursday, April 29th,) on the Investigation Discovery channel there will be an episode of True Crime devoted to this subject. I urge everyone to watch. I believe it is only available in the US, but I'll have a look around to see if I can find a live stream or some such for those of us outside the US.

Michael Jackson was the victim of the most vicious, large-scale character assassination in history, imo.

Why?

What does it say about humanity, that this could happen?

And why was his life cut short?

Whether related or not, these questions deserve thought, I believe.

Again, I say, may he rest in peace (not that I believe in anything so silly as the after life) and may his spirit in music live on for a looooooong time.

Robin, I've re-read your comments here and I am inspired by your passion for the great artist.

Thanks David. :)

I can't seem to find a live stream at the moment. I'll have another look closer to air time. The show starts at 10:00 pm for those who can and want to watch.

Update:

This program is easily found in various places on the net. I've watched it, and it's very good. Too short though.

It's been well over 10 months since MJ left us, and there is still a distinct lack of facts. Just odd coincidences, contradictions and the usual lies. The show was, however, a breath of fresh air amidst all that.

Today, L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael E. Pastor set the date of August 23rd for a preliminary hearing.

It's looking like the case will not make it to trial this year.

Apparently the hearing today was only to set a date for the preliminary hearing. As usual, we have not been getting the full / correct story.

The preliminary hearing date has been set for January 4. Now, are we supposed to trust that it won't just be another date to set a date for a prelim.?

I'm well aware that legal process takes a very long time. But this seems quite ridiculous.
