    slash is an epic guitarist, but i don't think anything of GNR's is what i would consider legendary.

    Won't be considered Axel as a genius, as well as won't be arguing with those who think an opposite. This is something individual. I like Guns'nRoses, they are pretty unique, as most of the bands in their era. "Knockin' on Heavens Door" and "The Jungle" are totally worth listening, that's for sure.
