A deeply felt reverential performance. They do not need to take a back seat to many of the available "professional" recordings. Thanks so much Bill for bringing it to our attention.
Oh, Verdi's Opera for Choir, Soloists, and Orchestra........Having sung it more times than I care to count I now am as blasé about it as I am about Haendel's "Messiah"........
Representative? Hmmm........Let me mull that one over a bit........Nah, I'm way too much of a "honky crackuh" - Our mate Steve knows me well enough to say: CD is no where near like the current avatar at the moment of his writing this posting.............Yes, things do change around here........Today is my "mysterious day" - Check out the vid link below:
Great link thank you CD. Could this become the latest craze. Change your avatar to suit your mood or preference for the day. Now it is raining should I use a duck? Or are you just keeping us guessing?
The latest craze - to keep everyone guessing because of my mood changes? Others before me have done that. I remember enough forum members getting "irritated" by the phenomenon. Soon I'll change the avatar to something that reflects my life in Moscow.............
Btw, you are very welcome. Miles Davis music is very addictive - I have been "drugged" by it for the past 24 hours - Now its time to pull out the needle and get some Methadone therapy........
Listen to Miles studio rendition of Portia........
