I sometimes wonder ... ...

Our local paper reports that a woman has received a bill from a nursing home for 28 days in lieu of notice, because she didn't give 28 days notice that her father was going to die (and thus move out of the nursing home)

Not sure I fancy the idea of giving 28 days notice of impending decease, mine or anybody elses.

Leave it to the blasted journalists who never, ever exercise any independent thought...erm...They are not paid to think...ah..ha...there's the elusive answer........
