Indeed, practice, practice, practice and then after that, practice, practice, practice. You can only achieve your goals with lots of work and effort - believe me, it will more than pay for itself in the long run as you enter the professional musician market.

Secondly, it is very advisable that you hire the services of a teacher or tutor while learning the piano. As we are struggling trying to learn the instrument and/or read music on our own, we lose sight of bad technique and fingering. The teacher/tutor will see the errors and will be able to constructively point them out and offer solutions along the way.

I wish you all the success on learning ... learning is a lifetime process ... even after 50+ years as a professional musician, I am still 'learning'.
