Hi I'm cricket.
Don't know enough about classical music, wish I'd started back when I was 3...
...got my first hard smack-in-da-face about 7 years ago while watching the soprano Rosie Nenchek (sp?), when she let out the final note in Il Trovatore (it was in German) while confronting Luna - in the Stadtstheater Freiburg; my "baptism" so-to-speak.
(Where is Rosie now? Last I heard she was at the Met)
Btw I'm a prof actor, act in English, Danish and German.
Joined this site for practical purposes mainly; as a performer I need to chase down information now and then - but I WISH I could talk the real stuff!
Maybe one day...
