Bassoons

Hi, I have a Conn Schreiber bassoon and I was wondering how old it is. The model # I believe is 9409, it also looks like the nines could be threes or eights, I'm 90% sure they're nines though. It's a very nice bassoon, and I'm also looking for some tips for playing the bassoon, I'm a beginner so any kind of tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
