My name is John, I'm a 39 year old Scot who lives in the North of England

I've been passionate about music ever since I was a little boy but still feel like a novice!

I won't be able to contribute much in the way of intellectual debate; I'm a dedicated listener not an expert.

Should have said, I'm mainly interested in Classical and Romantic-period music but not exclusively so, and I'm always keen to hear new works!
