it was with great sorrow that I read the news of Peter Ustinov's death just a few minutes ago... - though not entirely musicrelated mr. Ustinov actually have hosted a few discovery tv-biographical-shows on classical composers - Mozart, Bach and Beethoven amongst others... quite good ones actually...
known in such diverse acting-parts as Agatha Christies detective Hercule Poirot, detective Wilbur Fix from Jules Verne's "Around the world in 80 days" to the "classics" in the form of "Spartacus" and "Topkapi"... or what about the thouroughly enjoyable movie "One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing"

Thanks Thomas for this Sad Sad News. He was always a favourite of mine.As you say,he was involved in some of the greats.He had a special type of "magnetism" and style etc.
and was "The Perfect Gentleman".. May He Rest in Peace. R.I.P.
