There is a classical piece that I am trying to find its name and composer but too bad I cant.

The only lead I know to it is from a movie called "Master and Commandos" for the actor "Russell Crowe".

At the end of the movie the peice is played, I was wondering if anyone have seen the movie and heard the music.. I really in need to know it!

Thanks!

Hi there,

Even though I have seen the movie, I really can't remember the music in such detail... - but, there are ways to figure this out...
According to www.imdb.com (the Internet Movie DataBase), which is THE guide to finding out "odd" things like this, the movie contains the following list of composers and music:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311113/fullcredits

</font><blockquote><font class="small">Svar på:</font><hr />
Non-Original Music by :
Johann Sebastian Bach (from "Unaccompanied Cello Suite No.1 in G Major")
Luigi Boccherini (from "Boccherini La Musica Notturna delle Strade di Madrid. No. 6, Op. 30")
Arcangelo Corelli (from "Adagio from Concerto Grosso Op. 6, no. 8 in G Minor Christmas Concerto")
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (from "Violin Concerto No.3")
Ralph Vaughan Williams (from "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis")

So there's something to choose from... also the soundtrack listing - which I also found on the above address:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311113/soundtrack

sometimes there are "previews" of the entire track-list of the soundtrack on Amazon.com - but in this case it's only the first few tracks which are made available to preview... sadly...

But in any case, there should be a little info here for you to continue your search... - and maybe some of the others know the piece you're refering to.
