Glenn Gould Re-Performance - Zenph

Has anyone heard about this? Gould's 1955 recording of the Goldberg Variations has been technologically manipulated by Zenph Studios. I received the cd as a gift from my Father, and have been giving it a good listen. Apparently Art Tatum will be the next candidate. Read more here-

Seems like a fine idea. I'd like to hear it. I don't have a problem with the old recording, on cassette, but I'm not an audiophile nor do I have a decent stereo system.

In the interest of keeping a piano legend (or any other musician) at the forefront of our musical lives, I'm all for this kind of re-recording. This project appears to be of great value and affords a listener to enhanced listening pleasures ... It's absolutely amazing to live in this day and age of all the techological advances in sound recording and the re-creations of these.

I liked the article ... sounded like a real ambitious project that resulted in total success. Has anyone else heard this played on the newest Sony SACD system?
