Opera lyric about "arrogance will fall"

I am looking for lyrics to an opera aria (or recitative, or chorus for that matter), in which the theme is that arrogance will fall. I do not know of any such theme, thus the question. Can you help?

Let me start with welcome to the forum. It seems to me that everyone
is asleep around here but me. I get back on line and everyone else is
