Suzuki Pianos?

Anyone who has read my Wurlitzer post knows that I am looking into piano. I have found a Suzuki T48 upright that I really like. What are your thoughts and opinions on the Suzuki brand of pianos, or the T48 model. Thanks.

My Son's high school had a Suzuki upright - it had a nice sound and having played it on several occasions, the action wasn't bad - certainly respectable enough for the school's purposes, that being mainly accompanying choral works.

My only dislike was the "tinkly" highs ... mid-range and bass were ok - certainly not as good as my Young Chang at home, but decent on its own merits.

I used to sell piano's (and organs) for a living ... I've not yet heard any Wurlitzer piano that sounded like a Concert Grand ... I also sold Sohmer and Yamaha, and those were far better and outsold the Wurlitzer brand 7 to 1. We used the Wurlie pianos as rentals, mainly.
