As the crabs get larger do you have to get them bigger shells or do they stay acclimated to the size of the shell they have?

They will get bigger but not so quickly. I've seen some so big that the
hermit crab had to live in a big conk shell or coconut shell.

That will be a good while. They are kinda small right now. A snail's
shell fits right now.
